spilo! means to play.
And that’s exactly what we’re here to help families do—better, smarter, and with more joy.
Childhood should be loud, upside-down, wildly imaginative, and full of movement.
At spilo! play, we design custom indoor play gyms and luxury playroom spaces for modern homes and energetic kids. From sensory playrooms and basement playroom design to climbing walls, monkey bars, swings, and imaginative movement spaces, every spilo! environment is intentionally created to encourage active, screen-free play.
Our thoughtfully designed play spaces are built for climbing, swinging, spinning, pretending, crashing, balancing, fort-building, and big-time imagination — the kind of active play that helps children move their bodies, regulate their emotions, and let creativity run gloriously wild.
Designed for families in Pennsylvania and beyond, spilo! play creates one-of-a-kind home play spaces that blend movement, imagination, sensory regulation, and beautiful modern design. Because playrooms can be both wildly fun and beautifully intentional.
And because parents are just a little tired of hearing, “Can I have the iPad?”

Movement. Imagination. Regulation.
Together, these pillars create spaces that are active but intentional, wildly fun but beautifully designed, stimulating without becoming chaotic, growth-minded and adaptable as kids get older. Our design philosophy centers around three core focuses:
Spaces are intentionally designed to get kids moving — climbing, swinging, balancing, spinning, crashing, hanging, crawling, and building strength through play. Movement helps support gross motor skills, coordination, confidence, sensory processing, and healthy energy release in a way screens simply can’t.
Every spilo! space is built to invite open-ended play and creativity. A climbing wall becomes a mountain. Rings become jungle vines. A tucked-away nook becomes a spaceship, castle, reading retreat, or secret hideout. The goal is to create environments that spark storytelling, pretend play, exploration, and independent thinking.
Play spaces are thoughtfully designed to help children regulate both body and mind. That can mean incorporating sensory-friendly elements, calming corners, soothing color palettes, vestibular movement, or spaces for quiet reset alongside high-energy activity. The idea is to support the full emotional rhythm of childhood — not just constant stimulation.
